Manny and Office

Manny-Qt and Wettkampfbüro-Qt are free applications for the computer based judging for artistic cycling competition.

Manny-Qt is a collection of all applications necessary to perform computer base judgement. It contains the modules for the Chief as well as for the Announcing and Writing Commissaire.

Wettkampfbüro-Qt is an application to organize and carry out artistic cycling competitions.

Here are some of the main features:


Nevertheless Manny is based on new libraries. So it is available on multiple plattforms such like Linux, Windows and MacOS-X

Version 4.3.5.3 fixes the following issues

Scoreboard:

  • The problem of uncontrolled growth should be fixed now.

Version 4.3.5.2 fixes display issues and provides some improvements.

Scoreboard:

  • The problem of uncontrolled growth has been fixed.

  • The training times are working again.
  • On the results list, best performance and qualification can be selected separately again.

Chief:

  • Annoying error messages have been removed.
  • The acoustic signal can be set separately for the end of the riding time.

2025-02-12

The version 4.3.5.1 solves two smaller problems in the organization office with the printout of the Start- and Resultlist.
  • Qualification points of '0.00' are now recognized as 'deactivated' and are not displayed.
  • The 64-bit Windows version prints logos in the header again.
Note:
The other components of Manny do NOT require this update and therefore no update is available for them.

2024-12-18

The version 4.3.5 contains new features but also a very extensive restructuring of the software. I hope that no serious errors have crept in.

There are the following changes:

  • The Regulations 2025 are included.
  • The Kuras ME5 format is not longer maintained and was removed.
  • A 64-bit version for windows is available.

  • The recognition of similar starters and clubs has been improved.
  • The Excel export has been improved (WorldCup + EEC).
  • Attest can already be assigned in the preparation.
  • Optionally, 'no entry fee for attest' is possible.
  • Problems with printing have been resolved.
infoterminal:
  • The current judgement data can be sent as JSON to an external system (e.g. livestream).
Chief:
  • Optional alternating row colors for exercises

The Version 4.3.4.2 fixes a bug in the organization office,  within the import of BDR XML Files.
The bug only affects the organization office - only this was updated.

The Version 4.3.4.1 fixes a bug in the organization office, which leads to a crash during execution, if the 'results' windows was open.

2023-12-04

The Version 4.3.4 is now available  with the following changes:
  • regulations validated until end of 2024
  • the 64-bit linux version supports the newest Kuras ME5 data format.
  • competitors can participate 'out-of-competition'.

  • competitions can be can be expanded to three days.
  • Ranking list can be additional filtered by time and federation.

Download

For Manny the software download is splitted into two packages.

The first package Office contains the software of the Competition Office. So the computer for the preparation of the Competition does not have the entire scoring software installed.

The second package Manny contains all components for the entire scoring software. These are in detail chief, jury and the public displays scoreboard and infoterminal.

In addition, the software packages for Android and RaspberryPi only contain a limited range of functions.

Office

This package includes the Competition Office itself, the needed libraries, the regulations of all available languages as well as the online-help in English and German.
It is useable for for an initial installation as well as for update.
